Über mich

My name is Sara Jathanna. I am a counselor trained in Biblical Counseling.
I hold a Master’s degree in Theology from the Free Theological University of Giessen (Germany) and a Master’s in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, USA. 
Additionally, I have completed three certificates from the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF).
I live with my husband and two children near the beautiful Lake Starnberg and enjoy spending time with my family. 

My heart beats for people who are overwhelmed by life, stuck, or lost in their inner struggles.
To be deeply known, understood, and at the same time met with love is one of the greatest gifts in this world.
And so there is no problem that, through loving, respectful, and patient collaboration grounded in the Bible — God's Word — cannot ultimately encounter God's grace and find a path to healing.
For some, this kind of encounter is a first-time experience. This is the guiding principle behind my daily work.

There is no doubt that taking the step to open your heart in counseling takes great courage.

What makes my heart beat faster?
When people dare to take that very step. 

Not infrequently, those in distress first seek security and answers in distance from God — perhaps even unconsciously.
But how much greater is the value of discovering security and meaningful answers to your personal struggles on the way toward God?
