What does a counseling session look like?

Sessions are confidential and empathetic, lasting around 55 minutes – held online via Zoom or over the phone. I listen, ask questions, and walk with you through biblical wisdom. The pace is guided by you.

Do I have to be a Christian?

No. You don’t need to be a believer. Openness and respect toward the biblical approach is enough. The sessions invite reflection and fresh perspective – without pressure. This counseling is open to all people, regardless of denomination.

What languages are offered?

Counseling is available in both German and English.

How is biblical counseling different from psychotherapy?

While psychological counseling and psychotherapy often follow human models or behavioral strategies, biblical counseling sees the heart as the root of behavior and draws from God's perspective. The goal is not just behavior change, but true heart transformation through the lens of Scripture.

How many sessions will I need?

That’s completely individual. Some people find clarity in just a few sessions, others seek longer-term support. There’s no fixed number – you decide what’s right for you.

Is what I share really confidential?

Absolutely. Confidentiality is the foundation of all counseling. What you share stays private – unless there is a legal obligation (e.g., risk of harm to self or others).
